SKAT-100C
Dielectric test apparatus
The device is designed for testing and diagnosing the insulation of power cables, surge arresters, solid dielectrics, protective equipment and other objects and materials that require high voltage testing. It can also be used as a high voltage alternating and direct current generator.

The device has a bright six-inch LCD display with a detailed display of all the main and additional test parameters (rms value of current and voltage, peak voltage value, average value of the output current, output power, leakage current for 10 seconds).
The device SKAT-100C has extended functionality. In addition to the manual and automatic modes, a test mode according to built-in programs is implemented — the device will automatically pick up the specified voltage at the rate specified in the program, withstand the specified time, relieve the voltage and display a full report on the screen. The parameters and names of 10 programs can be edited using the user menu. Reports of the last 50 tests are stored in non-volatile memory and are available for viewing and printing using a printer connected via RS232 (optional). There is a real time clock.
There is an automatic mode of preliminary burning of defective insulation. This mode is used for insulation breakdown in couplings and for floating breakdowns to reduce the breakdown voltage to the level of the operating voltage of the burners. This mode can also be used to charge capacitors in acoustic shock wave generators.
SKAT-100C has a version of the control unit in a case.
